WOOD TO FIGHT FA DECISION

rWALSALL WOOD plan to appeal against a decision which has seen them thrown out of this season's FA Vase competition
Wood were due to travel to Norfolk tomorrow (Saturday) to take on Wroxham of the Eastern Counties League in the fourth round but were informed by the FA yesterday they have been removed for allegedly playing a suspended player.
The decision is subject to appeal, and the club have cofirmed they are taking legal advice as they were told the player concerned was only suspended from county FA football, not national competitions.
They say they will not make any further comment until the next step is decided.
