The Midland Football League's festive programme gets underway on Tuesday with a full fixture schedule across the league's four main divisions. In the Premier Division, league leaders Walsall Wood travel to Tividale, whilst second placed Shifnal Town travel to a Wolverhampton Casuals side who find themselves struggling at the wrong end of the table. Basement side Market Drayton Town travel to Whitchurch Alport and Uttoxeter Town will be looking to make home advantage count when Stone Old Alleynians visit the Oldfields Sports Ground. Many of the scheduled matches have differing kick off times, one example being Studley who host Racing Club Warwick at 11am, a match which allows groundhoppers to do two matches in one day.

The Bears, who had been without a league win since October were rewarded for getting their match on with a 2-1 victory against play-off contenders Bilston Town. Leslie Omorodion getting both of Paget Rangers' goals. The one match to survive in the Premier Division was Lichfield City's home clash with Bewdley Town. Ewen Edwards 40th minute strike gave the visitors a slender half time lead. Dan Lomas equalised for Lichfield City in the 63rd minute, but Bewdley regained the lead just two minutes later thanks to a Jamie Elkes own goal. Lichfield City secured a point in the 80th minute thanks to Kyle Patterson's equalising goal in front of a crowd of 122 at the Trade Tyre Services Stadium.
