The Midland Football League's festive programme gets underway on Tuesday with a full fixture schedule across the league's four main divisions. In the Premier Division, league leaders Walsall Wood travel to Tividale, whilst second placed Shifnal Town travel to a Wolverhampton Casuals side who find themselves struggling at the wrong end of the table. Basement side Market Drayton Town travel to Whitchurch Alport and Uttoxeter Town will be looking to make home advantage count when Stone Old Alleynians visit the Oldfields Sports Ground. Many of the scheduled matches have differing kick off times, one example being Studley who host Racing Club Warwick at 11am, a match which allows groundhoppers to do two matches in one day.

In the Midland Football League 1st Division, league leaders Dudley Town face a local derby when they travel to 3rd placed Bilston Town. Second placed Ashby Ivanhoe host mid-table Stapenhill whilst in-form OJM Black Country's match against Cradley Town has been postponed. Looking to take advantage of OJM's postponement will be Hinckley AFC who welcome fellow play-off chasing Nuneaton Griff to Barwell in an evening kick off. Elsewhere, at the bottom of the table, Haughmond will be looking to close the gap on the sides above them when they travel to AFC Bridgnorth and Heath Hayes welcome Wolverhampton Sporting Community to the Coppice Colliery Ground, with Sporting still harbouring play-off ambitions.

In Division 2 with Knowle's scheduled fixture at home to Cadbury Athletic due to extensive water damage to the dressing rooms at the Robins' Nest, Sutton United will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the table when they welcome local rivals Boldmere Sports & Social Falcons to their brand new Coleshill Road Nurseries Ground. Alcester Town, who sit in third welcome Earlswood Town, whilst AFC Coventry Rangers, who have up to four games in hand on the teams around them, will be looking to move up the table when they host Coventry Alvis.

Castle Vale Town who currently sit second bottom, welcome a Balsall & Berkswell side to Vale Stadium who will not have given up hope on securing promotion themselves. Elsewhere DSC United host AFC Birmingham, Leamington Hibernians welcome Solihull Sporting and Sutton Rangers entertain Continental Star.

Only two fixtures in the Midland Football League survived the big freeze on Saturday and the big winners were Division 1 side Paget Rangers.
The Bears, who had been without a league win since October were rewarded for getting their match on with a 2-1 victory against play-off contenders Bilston Town. Leslie Omorodion getting both of Paget Rangers' goals.
The one match to survive in the Premier Division was Lichfield City's home clash with Bewdley Town. Ewen Edwards 40th minute strike gave the visitors a slender half time lead. Dan Lomas equalised for Lichfield City in the 63rd minute, but Bewdley regained the lead just two minutes later thanks to a Jamie Elkes own goal. Lichfield City secured a point in the 80th minute thanks to Kyle Patterson's equalising goal in front of a crowd of 122 at the Trade Tyre Services Stadium.
