Three was the magic number for those involved in league action on Tuesday night.
In the Midland Football League Premier Division Shifnal Town moved up to second spot with a 3-0 victory at home to Bewdley Town, Jeremy Abbey and Kane Lewis amongst the goalscorers. In the Premier Division's only other game, Stone Old Alleynians won 3-0 away at Tividale to leapfrog their opponents in the league table, Jack Tomlinson (2) and Josh Sedgley with Stone's goals. In Division 1, Coton Green and Coventry Copsewood served up a classic at New Mill Lane. Coton Green raced into a three-nil lead, only to be pegged back, Copsewood equalising in the tenth minute of stoppage time. The flyers beating the Saddlers 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. In the JW Hunt Cup OJM Black Country continued their fine run of form with a comfortable 4-0 victory away at AFC Bridgnorth.
