Bishop Auckland have had a positive start to the season and are competing near the top of the Northern League (Division One). The Two Blues are in 2nd with 29 points from 12 matches and are competing for the league title alongside Shildon. They beat Yorkshire Amateur 5-0 in the second qualifying round and are in a good run of form with 15 points from their last six matches in division one. Northwich Victoria have had a fine start to the season and are comfortably in mid table in 13th in the premier division of the MFL. The Vics have been on a good run in the FA Vase and came through two qualifying rounds, beating Selby Town and Goole AFC to reach this stage. It’s going to be a long trip to Country Durham for the visitors on Saturday and a tough test against a quality team. Dudley Town V Darlaston Town Dudley Town have had a tough start to the season in the MFL (Premier) and are currently in 17th with 5 points from 12 matches. It’s been a challenging season so far for the Robins with the only win in the league coming at home against Bewdley Town. One of the positives for Dudley is top scorer Harry Crook committing to the club who has 7 goals in the league. The Robins beat Coton Green in a thrilling match on penalties in the previous round to reach this stage. Darlaston Town have had a good start to the season and are challenging for the play offs in the MFL premier division. They are currently in 6th with 20 points from 11 matches and two points off Stourport Swifts in 5th. Darlaston beat Paget Rangers at Coles Lane in the previous round 5-2 to reach this stage. Aaron Bishop is a player to watch who has seven goals in the league this season. Hinckley AFC V Stone Old Alleynians (Friday: 7:45pm Kick off) Hinckley have had an excellent start to the season and are involved in a thrilling title race with Droitwich Spa in MFL Division One. They are 3rd in the table with 27 points from 13 matches and just a point off Droitwich who are top of the table. The hosts have beaten Eccleshall and Bewdley Town to reach this stage of the competition. Brady Middleton is a player to watch for Hinckley who has played well in the last few weeks and scored in the 2-2 draw with Sutton United last weekend. Stone Old Alleynians have had a good start to the season in the premier division of the MFL and have gone a bit under the radar. The club are comfortably in mid table in 11th with 14 points from 13 matches. The visitors impressively beat Shifnal Town away from home in the previous round of the FA Vase and come into this match looking to have a cup run. Ingles V Boston Town Ingles have had an excellent start to the season in MFL Division One and are competing for a play off place. The Leicester club are in 6th with 22 points from 13 matches and only two points off OJM Black Country in 5th. They have gone a bit under the radar within the division but have been tough to beat so far with only three losses in the league. They beat Birstall United and Clifton all Whites (both on penalties) to reach this stage of the competition. Jack Allen is a player to watch who has six goals in the league. Boston Town have had an ok start to the season in the Premier Division North of the United Counties league and are comfortably in mid table. The visitors are in 12th with 13 points from 12 matches and well clear of the relegation zone. The Poachers beat Blackstones FC and Hucknall Town to reach this stage of the competition. Liam Adams is a player to watch who has four goals in the league this season. Kimberley Miners Welfare V Highgate United Kimberley Miners Welfare have had a tough start to the season and are in 16th in the United Counties League (Premier Division North) with 10 points from 12 matches. The Miners are only four points from Pinchbeck United who are bottom of the league and in the relegation zone. One of the highlights so far has been their run in the FA Vase with a win against AFC Mansfield Town in the second qualifying round to reach this stage of the competition. Highgate have had an excellent season so far in the premier division of the MFL and are up there challenging Congleton Town and Studley for the title. The club are in 2nd with 26 points from 12 matches and level with Congleton Town who are top of the table on goal difference. This is the Gate’s first match in the FA Vase this season and they did not play any qualifying rounds. Kartel O’Neil Martin is a player to watch for the visitors who has five goals in the league and has played well over the last few weeks. Lichfield City V Romulus Lichfield have been excellent this season in the premier division of the MFL and are challenging for a play off spot this season. They are in 4th with 22 points from 11 matches and have been tough to beat in the league with only one loss this season. Daniel Smith has impressed up front with 8 goals in the league and the team have played really well with 14 points from their last six league matches. They beat Alsager Town on penalties in the previous round to reach this stage of the competition. Romulus have had a fine start to the season in the premier division of the MFL and are in mid table in 10th with 15 points from 11 matches. They beat Wolverhampton SC at Pride Park in the previous round to reach this stage. The Roms could benefit from a run in the FA Vase to build a bit of confidence following some tough results in the league over the last few weeks. Stourport Swifts V Sherwood Colliery Stourport Swifts have had a good start to the season and are competing for the play offs in the premier division of the MFL. The Swifts are in 5th with 22 points from 12 matches and got a momentum building win at home against Northwich Victoria last weekend. This is the Worcester club’s first match in the FA Vase this season and they did not play any qualifying rounds. Lee Chilton is a player to watch for the hosts who has that bit of quality to open defences. Sherwood Colliery have been excellent in the Premier Division North of the United Counties League and are unbeaten from eleven league matches. They are top of the table with 29 points and five points clear of Melton Town in 2nd. Former Football League player Craig Westcarr is a player to watch for the visitors who has eight goals in eleven league matches this season. The Nottingham club beat Melton Town and Oadby Town in the previous rounds to reach this stage of the competition. The Wood have been one of the standout teams in the UCL this season and should prove a tough test for Stourport this weekend. Whitchurch Alport V Worcester Raiders Whitchurch have had a tough start to the season in the premier division of the MFL and are in 14th with 11 points from 12 matches. The club are adapting to a new manager in Adam Shillcock and there’s quality in the squad. Alex Hughes has impressed up front for the Shropshire club this season and has six goals from 11 league matches. They beat Wednesfield at the Cottage ground to reach this stage of the competition. Worcester Raiders have had a good start to the season and are in 3rd in the Premier Division of the Hellenic League. They have 26 points from 14 league matches this season and have lost only two matches in the league. The club is competing for the play offs alongside the likes of Slimbridge in the premier division. Isaac Cooper has played well for the visitors and has four goals in the league. The Raiders beat Abbey Hulton United and Westfields away from home to reach this stage of the competition. Wisbech Town V Tividale Wisbech have had an ok start to the season in the Premier Division North of the United Counties League. The club are in 14th with 11 points from 11 matches and five points clear from the relegation zone. Toby Allen has been excellent for the Cambridgeshire club and has 9 goals from 11 league games. The Fenmen beat Godmanchester Rovers and Whitton United in the qualifying rounds to reach this stage of the competition. Tividale have had a tough start to the season in the premier division of the MFL and are currently in 16th with 9 points from 12 matches. The visitors have shown moments of quality this season with the main highlights being the away win at Northwich Victoria and the home win against Uttoxeter Town. None the less, the club are only four points off Dudley Town in 17th and could do with some results over the next few weeks to climb into mid table. They beat Shawbury United in the previous round to reach this stage of the competition. Ryan Snape is a player to watch for Tividale who has five goals from eight league matches. Wolverhampton Casuals V Whittlesey Athletic Wolverhampton Casuals have played well over the last few weeks to climb out of the relegation places of the MFL premier division. The Cassies have picked up 8 points from their last four matches and are 15th in the table with 10 points from 11 matches. They beat Coventry Copsewood and Chelmsley Town in the qualifying rounds to reach this stage of the competition. Whittlesey have had an ok start to the season in Division One North of the Eastern Counties League. The Cambridgeshire club are in 12th with 20 points from 16 matches and comfortably in mid table. The visitors have not played any matches in the FA vase this season and did not play any games in the qualifying rounds. Kieran Hibbins is a player to watch for Whittlesey who has seven goals from 14 league matches. The visitors compete at a division lower than Wolverhampton Casuals and will be looking to cause an upset this weekend at Brinsford Stadium.
