Following the AGM held on 18th June, the constitution of the league has been agreed. The league welcomes its new members and looks forward to a fantastic second season. The new season will commence on August 8th for the Premier Division and Division 1. Divisions 2 and 3 will start on August 15th. Many of the leagues teams will begin their FA Cup journey on Saturday August 15th. Premier Division Alvechurch have appointed Ian long as their new manager. Long has waited no time in establishing an impressive squad bringing in a number of players from his former employer, Tividale. There are joint managers this season at Shepshed Dynamo with former Quorn boss John Folwell joining Jeff Stocking. This followed the resignation of assistant boss Paul Appleton. Coventry Sphinx are delighted and proud to announce that ex Coventry City FC legend Dave Bennett has become Club President. Dave Bennett commented upon his appointment, "I was surprised and delighted to be asked to become President of Coventry Sphinx Football Club. Hopefully we can work together and bring some great times to the club. I’m just pleased to be helping and giving something back to the community”. Dunkirk have two high profile home pre-season friendlies as Derby County and Sheffield United will be visiting the Ron Steel Sports Ground. League new boys Hereford FC are likely to be smashing attendance records throughout the league. With 870 season tickets sold, the support for the Bulls has surpassed all expectations. Expect their Edgar Street game against FC United to attract a huge attendance. Highgate United have signed goalkeeper Bradley Catlow in a permanent deal from Redditch united after a successful loan period last season. Westfields are looking forward to their games against new boys and neighbours Hereford. With their grounds less than 500yds apart, Westfields expect their biggest crowd ever at allpay.park Division 1 Ivor Green has returned as Atherstone Town manager just eight months after leaving Sheepy Road. He replaces Leigh Everett in the hot seat. Mark Taylor is the new man in charge at Bolehall Swifts after Carl Nolan had to stand down due to ill health. The MFL would like to wish Carl all the best in his recovery to good health. Heather St Johns have appointed Mark Kavanagh as their new manager. Hinckley AFC have made clear their promotion intentions with the signing of last season’s Premier Division leading goalscorer, Shane Benjamin, from Coleshill Town.
