MFL CLUBS BACK ON VASE TRAIL

The Isuzu FA Vase reaches the third-round proper stage this weekend with plenty of Midland Football League interest. Midland Football League Premier Division leaders Walsall Wood travel to divisional rivals Highgate United, whilst Atherstone Town host Stourport Swifts. In the two ties featuring external clubs, AFC Wulfrunians host Step 6 Brocton and Lye Town travel to Congleton Town.

Away from the Vase action in the Midland Football League Premier Division, sixth hosts second as Lichfield City entertain Shifnal Town. In a match with plenty of intrigue at the bottom end of the league table, Wolverhampton Casuals host Uttoxeter Town in a real six-pointer.

Cadbury, who are only two points behind Sutton, travel to Fairfield Villa. Local rivals meet at Field Lane where Hampton host Knowle. The form side in the Division is Alcester Town and the Romans are on the road tomorrow at Inkberrow.

Second-placed Central Ajax who are just two points from the league's summit travel to Continental Star, whilst third-placed AFC Solihull are at home to Balsall & Berkswell.
