MONDAY'S action saw Lye Town upset the form book, inflicting Worcester City's first defeat of the season on them, 3-0 at Claines Lane.
Ben Billingham, Joe Whittingham and Sam Tye got the goals. Hanley Town returned to the top of the table with a 5-0 victory at Whitchurch Alport, whilst Boldmere could only draw 1-1 at Lichfield City, Isaac Philips rescuing a point in the last minute after Jack Edwards had given the home side the lead. Stone Old Alleynians are third just on goal difference with ten points after goals from Dave Ablewhite and Matthew Thomas saw them edge out Uttoxeter 2-1 in the Staffordshire derby. Tividale keep up the pace at the top after a 4-0 win over Bewdley Town, a double from Elliot Hartley adding to a goal each from Cameron Milne and Dan Smith. In Division One, Cradley Town made it three wins in a row after a 3-1 win over Dudley Sports. But Darlaston Town 1874 remain top after a 7-1 destruction of AFC Bridgnorth, a result which sees the visitors stay second from bottom, without a win from seven games.
