LICHFIELD CITY have bolstered their ranks ahead of the new season after signing goalkeeper James Beeson and forward Jack Edwards.
Beeson brings experience to the club having played for Heather and Highgate. Boss Ivor Green has also retained defender Jamie Elkes. Meanwhile City's planned friendly with Walsall on Saturday has had to be postponed due to a number of COVID cases in the visiting camp - their fixture with Gresley last weekend was off for the same reason. But City are in action tonight (Tuesday) when they travel to Bedworth United (7.45pm).
