Neil Lyne brings in experienced forward Danny Carey-Bertram to add another attacking dimension for Leicester Road
The former Hereford United, Cambridge United, Forest Green Rovers, Bath City, AFC Telford and Worcester City striker not only brings experience but also provides another attacking option for Leicester Road.
Danny has been prolific goalscorer at every club he has played at and Neil Lyne will be looking for him to continue finding the net as well as helping our younger strikers become better players in all aspects of their game.
Danny 34, works has a physical training instructor and has already demonstrated throughout the pre-season sessions so far how high his own level of personal fitness is.
Welcome to Leicester Road Danny.

Neil Lyne brings in experienced midfield man Marlon Walters to add another midfield option for Leicester Road
Neil Lyne beat off a number of clubs playing at a much higher level and offering considerably more than he did to obtain the signature of Marlon Walters for Leicester Road.
Marlon is no stranger to Leicester Road having featured for Hinckley United until their premature end in 2013. His career started as a trainee a Wolverhampton Wanderers under the watchful eye of John Perkins before playing for several other clubs including Redditch United, Hednesford Town, Chasetown, Bedworth United, Halesowen Town and Highgate United.
Neil stated that Marlon has unfinished business at Leicester Road following his short-lived previous stay. Marlon has bought into our project wants to play an active role in it.
Marlon was offered all the normal incentives by big money clubs but after speaking to all other interested parties Neil Lyne was delighted to receive the call in midweek confirming he was coming to Leicester Road and wanted to be part of our plans going forward.
Welcome to Leicester Road Marlon

Neil Lyne brings in experienced defender Simon Alcott to bolster Leicester Road defence
Neil Lyne is delighted to bring Simon to Leicester Road having tracked him for the last 3 seasons. Neil first noticed Simon when Leicester Road first played Quorn FC but couldn't prise him away from the loyal group of players he had grown up with.
An injury coincided with a change of manager at Quorn last season and the door was left ajar for Neil to convince Simon that Leicester Road was not only the club for him but also a club on a mission.
Simon 25, played over 100 games for Quorn and was a commanding defender in Midland Football League Premier Division.
Welcome to Leicester Road Simon.

Neil Lyne brings back Nick Hawkins
Neil Lyne felt the time was right to re-introduce Nick Hawkins back into Leicester Road.
Nick is a big character in every sense of the word but he still has the qualities as a player to make the team better than it was last season. Nick made a big impact at Leicester Road during his first stint with us and aims to take us all the way this season.
Neil and Nick kept in touch throughout last season and Nick made no secret of his desire to return to Leicester Road last season even whilst staring for Long Eaton in the Midland Football League Premier Division and then helping Dunkirk win the East Midlands Counties League and promotion to Midland Football League Premier Division, also last season.
Nick Hawkins is a disciple of Project Neil Lyne and also joins the Leicester Road coaching staff to assist Neil both on and off the pitch and in training as well.
Welcome back Nick.
