JAI Verma hit two late goals tonight (Tuesday) to help Walsall Wood to a thrilling 2-1 premier league victory over Uttoxeter Town.
All the goals came in the last ten minutes, Verma scoring on 82 and 86 before Ross Haig got one back for Town two minutes from time. Shifnal Town won the all Shropshire clash at Haughmond 1-0, with a Tom Hill header on 38 minutes. Lye kept up their 100-per-cent home record with a 2-0 win over Highgate United, Justice Campbell and Jaden Owusu-Nepaul on target. Boldmere came from 1-0 down to beat Tividale 3-1, Alex Mcskeane continuing his recent run of goal scoring form with two and Danny O'Sullivan getting the third. Dan Smith had given Tividale a first half lead.
