WEEKEND PREVIEW
HANLEY Town will carry the FA Cup hopes of the Midland Football League into the weekend when they take on Brackley Town at home in the third qualifying round in front of a national TV audience. A big crowd is expected at the Payaro Stadium to see Carl Dickinson's side take on Town, who are second in the National League North. The game kicks off at 12.30pm and is being broadcast live on the BBC I-player and via the red button. Lichfield City took over at the top in the premier division in the week but do not have a game, with Boldmere looking to knock them off their perch as they face an away game at Whitchurch. Another team well in touch with the leaders is Shifnal Town who travel to improving Racing Club Warwick, whilst Lye who are fifth, host Wolverhampton Casuals. Division one action sees Atherstone Town with the chance to go clear of Stapenhill at the top when they travel to Wednesfield. Stapenhill don't have a game and third paced Darlaston Town will attempt to close the ground on them when they travel to Cradley Town. Meanwhile there is a Dudley derby at Hillcrest Avenue, with Sports taking on Town, and OJM Black Country will look to continue their recent good form when they travel to Nuneaton Griff.
