HANLEY ROMPING TOWARDS TITLE

HANLEY TOWN are 15 points clear at the top in the race for the Midland Football League Premier Division title after a 2-1 win at Boldmere St Michaels. 
Their goals came from Jaden Cotterill and Chris Dagnall after Kyle Byrne had given Boldmere the lead.
AFC Wulfrunians consolidated second place with a 2-0 win over Shifnal Town, the goals coming from Ty Knight and Tom Poole.
Stone Old Alleynians surprised Worcester City by winning 1-0 with a first half goal from Sam Wilson and Adam McGurk was the penalty hero for Walsall Wood with two in the 2-0 home win over Romulus
Lye Town are really in the play off mix and won 3-2 at Highgate United with a winner a minute from time from Rees Wedderburn.
Romario Martin got two goals in Racing Club Warwick's 3-2 win over Haughmond, Costelos Lautaru getting the other.
First division action saw Paget Rangers win 2-1 at home to Shawbury United with goals from Rivel Mardenborough and Alex Tesfom.
Ashby Ivanhoe beat Wednesfield 3-0 with goals from Jordan Wilson, Will Robson and Chris Acott but on Sunday it was confirmed joint management duo David Ferguson and Steve Hill had left the club by mutual consent.
