SHIFNAL Town moved into fifth place in the Midland Football League Premier on Tuesday night after an incredible 8-3 win at Bewdley Town.
The Shropshire side raced into a three goal lead through Lewis Riley-Stewart and two from Jay Holdcroft before Dylan Hart got two back for Bewdley before the break.
Two goals from both Tom Hill and Reece Wedderburn and one from Harry Cunningham, all in the second half, gave Shifnal an ultimately emphatic victory.
Meanwhile an 87th minute Alex Hughes winner kept up Whitchurch Alport's recent good run of form with a 2-1 win at Walsall Wood. Hughes had already got the equaliser after Liam Stewart had opened the scoring for Wood.
The game between Stone Old Alleynians and Racing Club Warwick was postponed.
