WEEKEND ROUND UP Lichfield City went back to the top of the premier division after a 4-0 win over Tividale at the Trade Tyre Community Stadium. Two goals from Jack Edwards, one from Max Dixon and a Dan Lomas penalty gave them a comfortable victory. But Hanley Town are hot on their heels after a 2-1 win at Walsall Wood courtesy of Ryan Campbell Gordon and a late goal from substitute Kyle Stubbs. Both Lichfield and Hanley are unbeaten in the league, with the latter having played one game more. Worcester City are fourth after a 2-0 win at Boldmere with an Aaron Roberts double whilst Lye slipped up 2-1 at Whitchurch, where Alex Hughes got two for the home side and Ben Billingham missed a penalty for Lye. Stone Old Alleynians got an excellent 2-0 win at Shifnal Town, with a penalty from David Abelwhite and one from Sam Wilson, both in the first half. A Tom Hughes header on 75 minutes for Haughmond rescued a point for them in a 1-1 draw with Highgate, who had taken an early lead. Kyle Belmont hit a hat-trick for Bewdley Town who produced a 4-0 win at Racing Club Warwick. Simon Rudd scored Bewdley's other goal. AFC Wulfrunians drew level with Romulus courtesy of a 2-0 away win at Castle Vale. Aaron Bishop and Jack Till got the goals for Wulfs. Uttoxeter Town came back from going behind at Stourport Swifts to win 3-1. Martin Slevin had given Swifts the lead but goals from Paul Hughes, Jack Jeffrie and Jack Avery saw the points go bac to Staffordshire. Two goals from Mitch Lawley helped Dudley Town to a 3-1 win over Paget in division one, keeping the pressure on Stapenhill and Atherstone, both of whom had comfortable wins.
