LATE LATE SHOW FOR TIV

A THRILLING game at The Beeches this afternoon saw Tividale and Whitchurch Alport share six goals, with the home side getting two in injury time.
Whitchurch were three up by 54 minutes and seemingly home and dry, but goals from Dan Smith and Luke Carter and Brad Welding both deep into injury time secured an opening day point for Tividale.
Hanley Town started life in the Midland Football League Premier with a win, 2-1 over Shifnal. Louis Dodds and Reece Jones were on target for Hanley, Tom Hil got what proved to be a consolation for Shifnal.
Atherstone Town are top in Division One after a 5-1 win at Bilston Town Community while early pacesetters Darlaston Town could only draw 2-2 at Stapenhill, who have also started well.
