BOLDMERE St Michaels went above Worcester City in the premier after beating them 2-0 at the County Sports Ground on Saturday
Two goals from Alex McSkeane gave them the win and they are also leve with points on Lichfield City who went down 4-1 at home to Stourport Swifts. Despite captain Dan Lomas giving them the lead with a penalty, Swifts came back with goal from Drew Canavan, also from the sport, Mason Birch, Lee Chilton and Ben Jevons. Goalkeeper Kieron Harrison rescued a point for Hanley Town in the 90th minute at Highgate who had taken a 2-0 lead. Kyle Stubbs got Hanley's first goal with Alex Smith and Jordan Francis on target for 'Gate. Lye Town continued their recent good form with a 3-1 win at home to Bewdley, Rees Wedderburn, Ryan Bridgewater and Chukwurah Dembu all scoring for the home side, Simon Rudd replying for Bewdley. A solitary Elliot Hartley goal seven minutes from time gave Tividale a 1-0 win over Shifnal and Sam Yeardley did the same for Haughmond against Uttoxeter Town. Romulus enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 win over Wolverhampton Casuals, Kory Burke Deshon Carty and Jack Whelan scoring the goals. AFC Wulfrunians are level with Lichfield and Boldmere on point after a 2-0 win over Vase heros Whitchurch, Tom Ray aney tnd Dominic Dell both getting first half goals. In the first division, Atherstone are now unbeaten in 19 games though they had to come from behind to beat OJM Black Country 4-1 at home. Stapenhill stay second after a 5-1 win at Paget Rangers, Haydn Brown getting a hat-trick and George Teeney two.
