On Saturday Lichfield beat Highgate in the FA Vase and Wulfrunians beat Stone Old ALleynians 2-0, only to see their management team leave after the game. Meanwhile Boldmere St Michaels take on Uttoxeter Town at the Trevor Brown Mermorial Ground. The Mikes - who went out of the FA Vase on penalties to Congleton on Saturday - can go third if they win. Kick off for both games tonight is 7.45pm. FIRST division Atherstone Town have been drawn at home to premier division Whitchurch Alport in the third round proper of the FA Vase.
Atherstone beat Long Eaton 3-1 on Saturday whilst Whitchurch saw off Malvern Town on penalties. Lichfield City have a home draw against Congleton Town of the North West Counties Premier and Walsall Wood are at home to Anstey Nomads of the United Counties Premier. The ties will be played on Saturday December 11 and settled on the day. The winner of each tie will receive £1,125 and the losers £350. |
