HANLEY KEEP THEIR NERVE TO WIN

9/4/2022

THERE was free entry to the Payaro Stadium on Saturday for Hanley Town versus Highgate and they saw three goals in a 3-0 win for the home side through Reece Jones, Chris Dagnall and Louis Dodds.
Boldmere kept up the race for the title though with a 3-0 win in a local derby at Romulus, Harry Craven getting two and Lewis Archer the other.
Lichfield City can still catch Boldmere and kept up the pressure on them with a 3-0 win over AFC Wulfrunians through two late goals from Luke Keen and an earlier effort from Dan Lomas.
In division one, Ashby Ivanhoe booked their place in the end of season play offs with an impressive 1-0 win at Darlaston Town 1874.
